In the summer of 2003 I drove through the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and passed an area called NeverSummer Mountain. I was so intrigued by the cold stillness of a place where summer cannot happen, where sunlight cannot warm the land, where life struggles to grow. I knew I had to write a piece that reflected this idea.
A great way to support new music is to perform the music you find here.
