In three move­ments: (1) Boil­ing; (2) Ice; (3) Liq­uid. Writ­ten for the Flute Ensem­ble of the Mannes Col­lege Exten­sion Divi­sion, under the direc­tion of Mary Barto. Each of the three move­ments high­lights a dif­fer­ent player, although parts may be switched to accom­mo­date strengths of dif­fer­ent performers.
